What is a bad credit mobile phone contract?
This is a mobile phone contract that does not take the applicant’s credit rating into account. In other words, even if you are blacklisted, you could still qualify for a mobile phone contract, something not possible from other mobile phone service providers who would just reject your application outright.
Who can apply?
Any resident of the United Kingdom who is over the age of 18 can apply for such a contract. You don’t even need to have a bad credit rating. In fact, many people who are trying to build up a positive credit history from scratch apply for these contracts to do so.
What do I need to do to make an application?
It’s very easy actually. You need to either fill in our online application or visit one of our sales consultants at our offices to start your application.
What do I need to bring with me?
We require a number of documents should you wish to apply for a bad credit mobile phone contract. These include the following:
- Your identity document
- Proof of your residential address (both if you own a home or rent)
- Wage slips from your employer (normally for the last three months, but we could as for more)
- Bank statements (from your main active account for the last six months)
How long does the process take?
All in all, the application process should not take more than 30 minutes. You will then have to wait around two hours before we can tell you if you have been approved or not. This is due to the fact that we need to go through your numbers and see which contract is best suited to you.
How long does it take to get my handset?
Rest assured, if you are near our offices, you can have a handset within 24 hours of applying. If you live further afield and have applied online, we will have to courier your door. This may take a day or two.
If my phone has a problem, can I return it?
Of course you can. This is only if the phone has a fault and not due to something you may have done, water damage for example. Our technicians are the best in the business and will know if you are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
